Romp Along

I use MAC Charcoal Brown daily as a brow filler, but I’ve never actually used it in on my lid as an eyeshadow!  Today, I thought I’d test it out and do a smoky brown look.  I also found out it has a very similar base color to Romp, although Romp has shimmer and Charcoal Brown doesn’t.

Antique Bronze

I wore this look out on “date night’ with my fiancé last night.  His favorite eyeshadow color on me is purple, but he pretty much loves anything smoky.  I wanted to do a look that’s really popular on the runways this Fall — a brown shadow worn all around the eye with a natural lip.

An Unlikely Combo — Cranberry and Satin Taupe

This look was created to complement a top I was wearing in a deep mauve/plum hue. I definitely wanted to do a shadow with MAC Cranberry, but was torn between pairing it with a dark brown or something unexpected. That ‘something unexpected’ turned out to be Satin Taupe and the result — a grayed velvety plum.
